Learning Style Preferences of Physical Education Majors: Implications for Teaching and Learning.
Randall, Lynda E.; And Others
Journal on Excellence in College Teaching, v6 n2 p57-77 1995
Two studies, one quantitative and another qualitative, of learning style preferences of physical education majors are reviewed. The quantitative study investigated variation in relation to gender, age, and ethnicity and how preferences compared to those found in other disciplines. The qualitative study identified common themes in student interviews about learning style. Eleven ways to improve teaching and learning are presented. (Author/MSE)
