This study was designed to determine scientifically the characteristics which are desirable in a site to be used for eco-educational purposes. An opinionnaire was devised and sent out to leaders in outdoor education. Findings indicated no essential characteristics for such an eco-educational site. (Author/MA)

Attitudes towards the wolf were measured among 1,692 individuals who participated at a computerized questionnaire exhibit at the 1972 Minnesota State Fair. Results indicated that age was the most important factor in determining attitudinal patterns. Generally, children under the age of ten had the most negative feelings. (MA)

This article outlines the results of a study of household recycling conducted in Somerset County, New Jersey, and describes some of the forces that seem to encourage recycling behavior. The results suggest that people must be both motivated and capable of overcoming barriers to recycling. (CW)
