Community resource sites in Maine were utilized by junior high school students participating in Operation EPIC, an ESEA Title III experimental program in curriculum. The program attempts to develop student awareness and appreciation of the urban complex: social, cultural, industrial, and recreational phenomena. Systematic evaluation of the field trip program was subsequently conducted and reported here in statistical form. (BL)
