Evaluated difference in level of alienation between Nigerian secondary school students who were drug users (N=97) or non-users (N=119). Results supported hypothesis that the alienated personality would be more susceptible to drug abuse than other personality types. Results suggest need for efforts to reduce student alienation. Investigated effects of age and school location on the perceptions of alcohol use by students among randomly selected secondary school principals (N=98) in Bendel State, Nigeria.
