The survey was administered to high school seniors. Analysis supported 3 of the 4 hypothesized factors: Delay Avoidance (DA), Work Methods (WM), and Teacher Approval (TA). The Educational Acceptance (EA) factor was not supported. Implications for counseling are discussed. (Author/BJG)

A job satisfaction questionnaire was completed by 4,130 exempt and non-exempt employees of a computer company. Results supported test reliability and validity and suggested exempt employees were more satisfied. Satisfaction with the nature of work and satisfaction with pay and working conditions were the most important facets. (GDC)

This study developed a questionnaire to: (1) identify the issues related to the design of parent education programs and their dimensions and (2) provide an empirical basis for their resolution. College students were administered the Multidimensional-Multiattributional Causality Scale (MMCS). Most of the 3-item subscales had adequate reliabilities. A factor analysis of intercorrelations of responses revealed three pure factors and three ambiguous factors. Results provide partial support for reliability and factorial validity of the MMCS.…

The Survey of Reading Attitudes-Primary Level was administered orally to 269 first-grade, 240 second-grade, and 236 third-grade students. The responses were factored separately by grade using a principal factor method with varimax rotation.
