The predictive validity of the Admissions Test for Graduate Study in Business (ATGSB) and alternative predictors for English-speaking and non-English speaking students in a Master's Degree Business Administration Program were investigated. The ATGSB and other variables were found to correlate with success in the program. (Author/JKS)

This study examines predictive validity of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) of academic success as measured by graduate grade point average (GGPA) of 582 students in selected academic disciplines. Results indicated considerable variability in validity coefficients for both different subgroups and subtests. (BS)

Rankings by faculty members of scholarship and profesionalism of doctoral recipients were correlated with age, undergraduate and graduate grade point average, and Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) scores. Results indicated age was negatively correlated, grades were positively correlated, and GRE scores were positively correlated. (JKS)

Grade point average for a sample of graduate school of education students was more accurately predicted from undergraduate grade point average than from part of total scores on the Undergraduate Record Examination. However, the Advance Education examination of the Undergraduate Record Examination did improve the prediction equation. (Author/JKS)

Selection criteria at a graduate school of business were examined in a study evaluating the predictive validity of the Graduate Management Admissions Test and the Miller Analogies Test for 203 recent graduates.
