This study attempted to determine the effectiveness of the use of radio equipment as a means of providing immediate feedback to student counselors. Explored the relationship between attribution of success and sex role orientation of women (N=114) in graduate school. Results indicated that, among achievement oriented college women, attributional style was related to sex role orientation. Assessed the needs of part-time students (N=146) attending an urban university. A questionnaire was developed and administered during class time, and a random sample of students were interviewed. When the course selection requirements were made flexible in a college of education, the graduated students following the flexible program achieved lower scores on the NTE Mathematics Scale and did not achieve higher cumulative grade point averages in the college when compared to those who followed the more rigid program.
