Choosing a Great Preschool: A Parent's Perspective
Ransom, Marilee
Childhood Education, v88 n4 p266-269 2012
Many parents--whether employed outside the home or not--either want or need preschool for their young children. Research indicates that quality early educational experiences bestow numerous benefits on children, including developing a love of school, healthy socialization, meaningful learning, and preparation for kindergarten. Equipped with this knowledge, parents often face enormous difficulty in identifying quality programs that meet budgetary and other practical constraints. In this article, the author shares her perspective in choosing a great preschool for kids.
