This report contains the results of the Association of Research Libraries' (ARL) survey of academic Health Sciences libraries for 2001-02. Out of 114 ARL university libraries, 65 responded to the survey. Data are presented on collections, expenditures, and personnel and public services. Includes questionnaire. Health Sciences libraries reported median values of 226,331 volumes held and 5,468 gross volumes added. The full-time equivalent of 2,624 staff were employed by these libraries during the year. Responding libraries reported total expenditures of $202,624,769. Staff salaries and wages made up the largest portion of that total, with 43.73% of aggregated expenses falling under that category.
