Extending the Preservice of Teachers.

A model-extended teacher education program aimed at providing quality teachers for secondary schools is presented. Five years of academic work and the initial year of teaching are covered by the program. At the end of the program, a three-year individualized plan for professional growth must be submitted. (MT)
