Discusses the challenges of designing a curricula for communications students that includes liberal arts courses. Presents results of a survey of communication administrators who were asked whether they required courses in liberal arts of communication majors. Concludes that, although the curricula is infused with liberal arts components, it is fragmented and should be more comprehensive. (PA)
