Undergraduate program directors were surveyed about the appropriateness of eight research goals derived from the Council on Social Work Education's curriculum policy statement. A high level of support for seven goals was found, with the goal of preparing students to contribute to the generation of knowledge for practice the least popular. (Author/MSE)
