Examines the evolution and current status of managed health care, describes issues relevant to areas in social work education, and offers techniques for incorporating material on managed care into the social work curriculum. Argues that abundant resources for making this transition are available to both individuals and institutions, and that such curriculum development should be a high priority. (Author/MSE)
