Investigated the interplay of second language pedagogy and cultural insights through the lens of Boston University's Lisa Loeb cross-cultural travel fellowship. Three graduate students in the Modern Foreign Language education program spent 6 weeks in the countries that spoke the languages they taught. The fellowship offered participants an immersion-like experience and direct contact with the target cultures. (SM)
