Articulates the critical importance of media programs and media specialists in implementing education reform initiatives. Examines why many library media programs are not consistently regarded as integral to reform, suggests ways that media specialists can maximize use of resources and services, and delineates media specialists' central role in reaching the goals of a specific Kentucky reform effort.
