Attitudes of School Psychologists towards the Integration (Mainstreaming) of Children with Disabilities.

School psychologists (N=261) in New South Wales, Australia, were surveyed regarding their attitudes toward mainstreaming and asked to identify resources required to meet the needs of disabled students in regular classrooms. Subjects generally saw their role as consultative rather than interventionist and attached little importance to knowledge of classroom techniques. (Author/PB)
