Success Anxiety in Women: A Constructivist Interpretation of Its Source and Its Significance.
Sassen, Georgia
Harvard Educational Review, v50 n1 p13-24 Feb 1980

Recent research suggests that this anxiety is generated by the climate of competition, not success itself. Rather than training women to compete, the institutions and values that define success should be restructured. (Author/SK)
