The California Psychological Inventory (CPI), the Slosson Intelligence Test (SIT), and the Shipley-Institute of Living Scale (SILS) were administered to undergraduates. The Intellectual Efficiency scale scores were correlated .52 with the SIT scores and .39 with the SILS scores. The SIT and SILS were correlated .49. (Author/GK)

The Shipley-Institute of Living Scale (SILS) was used as a criterion to evaluate the Quick Word Test (QWT) and the Wide Range Vocabulary Test Form B (WRVT-B). Testing 50 college students, the correlations were .68 with QWT, .73 with WRVT-B, and .81 between those two tests. (CTM)

A sample of 76 undergraduate students showed the Nonconformity and Ego Strength Scales to be significantly, but inversely, related. A statistically significant correlation between sex and a measure of conformity suggested that females are more conforming than are males. (Author/CTM)
