Studied impact of Council for the Advancement of Standards (CAS) for Student Services/Development Programs'"Standards and Guidelines for Student Services/Development Programs." Findings from 130 chief student affairs officers revealed that, although emphasis on assessment, student involvement, and holistic development suggested by standards was increasing, respondents did not perceive CAS Standards as basis for change.
