Explores elements of a student-athlete culture (N=8) so as to provide richer understanding of its dual-role demands. Results revealed major themes that are fundamental in student-athlete culture. Thematic discussion centers on student-athletes' strong cultural immersion, as well as their ambivalence toward, and alienation from, others on campus. (RJM)
