Child "domestics" or "domestic workers" are defined here as children under the age of 18 who work in other people's households, doing domestic chores, caring for children and running errands, among other tasks. This digest focuses mainly on the situation of live-in child domestics, that is, children who work full time in exchange for room, board, care, and sometimes remuneration.
