Build an Inexpensive Wind Tunnel to Test CO2 Cars
McCormick, Kevin
Tech Directions, v71 n10 p22-23 May 2012
As part of the technology education curriculum, the author's eighth-grade students design, build, test, and race CO2 vehicles. To help them in refining their designs, they use a wind tunnel to test for aerodynamic drag. In this article, the author describes how to build a wind tunnel using inexpensive, readily available materials. (Contains 1 figure.)
