Behavioral, Cognitive, or Brain-Based Training?

Most trainers believe there are just two scientific approaches on which to base a training technology: behavioral psychology and cognitive psychology. There is a third scientific approach currently emerging that does deal with every kind of skill, and it comes from biology rather than psychology. This new approach is based on findings from neuroscience on how the brain works. In this article, the author explains the differences between these three scientific approaches. The author also explains why the brain-based learning design is the most superior among the three approaches to learning. He also discusses the challenges associated with brain-based learning.
