The standard of professional ethics among teachers directly determines the educational standards of a school; they are an essential component of education. In order to clarify the current situation with regard to the professional ethics of teachers in institutions of higher education, this article analyzes how society evaluates those ethics and the factors influencing them (including forms of and criteria for teacher-student interaction, the professional skills of teachers, and the individual charisma [meili] of teachers).
