The Education Requirement of the U.S. Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986: A Case Study of Ineffective Language Planning.
Huss, Susan
Language Problems and Language Planning, v14 n2 p142-61 Sum 1990
Under the 1986 Immigration Reform Act, illegal aliens could fulfill English, history, and civics knowledge requirements by attending instructional programs.
