The Southern Poverty Law Center's (Alabama) Teaching Tolerance Project provides free products and services to teachers and schools working to promote racial tolerance. Other programs combatting racism include the Westridge Young Writers Workshop, Facing History and Ourselves, the Sidewalk Theatre of New York, the Fratney School (Wisconsin), and the Highlander Research and Education Center (Tennessee).
