Twenty Minutes to Impress: Keys to a Successful Interview
Tougaw, Paul W.
Kappa Delta Pi Record, v45 n2 p84-87 Win 2009
An interview is a multifaceted and complex process that begins long before and can end many days after the actual face-to-face interview. The process can be quite intimidating for recent graduates or young teachers with little job search experience. This article offers suggestions that can demystify the interview process and provide an opportunity for a candidate to make a positive impression of competence and professionalism. Though this article is intended for less experienced candidates, many of the suggestions could be used by veteran teachers who are seeking to advance their careers or relocate. (Contains 3 resources.)
