The parenting and child development course is designed to address parenting skills and choices. Content emphasis is on parenting decisions, stages in child development, relationships within families, appropriate family coping strategies, evaluation of child care services, and careers in child development and parenting-related areas. The apparel and housing course is designed as a single-semester course that incorporates much of the subject matter that was previously addressed in two separate semester-length offerings in clothing and housing.
