Over the past 10 years, several laws have been passed and Executive Orders issued to eliminate some of the sex-based discrimination found in employment. The speaker, director of Education and Women's Activities of the International Union of Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers, discusses several of these laws in depth, including: (1) the Equal Pay Act of 1963; (2) Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; (3) Executive Order 11246; (4) Education Amendment of 1972.
