This reference book provides information on all types of materials for teaching and studying entomology. The first section contains: a list of books organized by subject and arranged alphabetically by author; lists of booklets, offprints, and pamphlets on various entomological topics; sources of equipment, live insects, and titles of laboratory manuals/guides; list of entomological journals arranged alphabetically by title; and publisher and author indices. The second section provides lists of resource personnel (arranged alphabetically by state or U.S. possession, with a separate section for Canada, Mexico, and other countries) including: extension specialists in entomology; extension pesticide coordinators/program leaders: pesticide chemicals, education, safety, and training; statewide integrated pest management coordinators; entomology department administrators; and museums and collections. Name and current address/telephone number of key contacts are given. The third section provides subject, media, and source lists of audiovisual aids (films, videotapes, slide sets, pocket guides, charts, and games) available as of January 31, 1983. The subject list contains titles arranged alphabetically by media type under 36 subject headings. The media list contains titles found in the subject list arranged alphabetically by media; title, media type, description, and source are provided for each entry. (JN)
