Mothers supported by Aid to Families of Dependent Children were studied regarding their use of child care arrangements, satisfaction with these arrangements, and preferences for substitute care. Results suggest the need for broad services for children whose mothers are encouraged or compelled to work through the Work Incentive Program. (DP)
