Ellis, Clare J.; Riley, Tracy L.; Gordon, Barrie
Journal of Secondary Gifted Education, v14 n4 p229-42 Sum 2003
A study investigated the beliefs and experiences of 18 females identified as athletically talented. Results found participants did not perceive themselves as significantly talented or special in any way. However, the participants enjoyed being athletically talented and would not wish to be different. Positive aspects included increased confidence and self-esteem. (Contains references.) (Author/CR)
