This CD-ROM contains nine Web documentaries that range from approximately 4 minutes to nearly 10 minutes running time. They include: "A Video Primer" (an introduction to the George Lucas Educational Foundation); "Handhelds" (how personal digital assistants are helping students and teachers connect); "Journey North" (wildlife migration patterns are monitored and shared online by students); "First People's Project" (indigenous students on five continents share the wisdom of their respective cultures); "San Fernando Education Technology Team" (students send messages to the world via multimedia productions); "Principal Mentoring" (a new principal learns the ropes with help from an experienced administrator); "Children's Aid Society" (a unique collaboration leads to healthier children and improved academic achievement); "Home Visits" (this program puts a new spin on parental involvement); and "Schools of Environmental Studies" (facility design and project-based curriculum go hand-in-hand at this small high school).
