This guide, the 27th edition, provides a record of transfer agreements for Alberta postsecondary institutions for the 2002-2003 academic year. Section 1 is an introduction that explains the activities of the Alberta Council on Admissions and Transfer. Section 2 contains institutional statements on admission policies and related information for transfer students. These brief summary statements are arranged alphabetically by institution. Section 3 lists transfer agreements for each sending institution. Section 4 lists transfer arrangements with other organizations, and section 5 presents a statement of transfer principles as developed by the Council with an explanation of the Council's role and the polices and procedures under which it operates. Section 6 outlines the Council"Terms of Reference" and membership. The beginning of the "Guide" contains four charts depicting the transfer system and various types of academic upgrading courses accepted by Alberta institutions. (SLD)
