The Language Problem in Tourism. Esperanto Documents No. 34A.
Universal Esperanto Association, Rotterdam (Netherlands).
Esperanto can remove the language problem from tourism and bring major moral, economic, and practical advantages for all of humankind. Officials of national and local tourism organizations and companies should encourage its application in various ways, for example, by using it for: publication of publicity materials destined for use abroad; public information-giving in international railway stations, airports, and bus stations; street signs and international timetables; relations among tourism personnel and travelers; training of tourism personnel and tourism education in postsecondary institutions; and tourism magazines and other publications.
