Washington high school principals (248 of 350) reported that (1) an adequate pool of business teacher candidates existed (although one-third questioned its quality and quantity); (2) demand for new business teachers and curriculum is expected to increase; and (3) predicted numbers of business teacher graduates do not meet predicted demand.
