Collective bargaining agreements between 27 selected community colleges of the State University of New York and their faculty associations are presented, representing contracts in effect in 1987. Contracts for the following colleges are included: Adirondack Community College, Broome Community College, Cayuga County Community College, Clinton Community College, Columbia-Greene Community College, Community College of the Finger Lakes, Dutchess Community College, Fashion Institute of Technology, Fulton-Montgomery Community College, Genesee Community College, Herkimer County Community College, Hudson Valley Community College, Jamestown Community College, Jefferson Community College, Mohawk Valley Community College, Monroe Community College, Nassau Commmunity College, North Country Community College, Onondaga Community College, Orange County Community College, Rockland Community College, Schenectady County Community College, Suffolk County Community College, Sullivan County Community College, Tompkins-Cortland Community College, Ulster County Community College, and Westchester Community College. With some variation in content and detail, the agreements deal with unit recognition and rights, employer rights and responsibilities, member rights, faculty appointments, hours and working conditions, paid and unpaid leaves of absence, academic freedom, faculty evaluation, grievance procedures, salary schedules, employee benefits, reduction in workforce, and the scope, effect, and term of the agreement.
