School Students' Views on School Councils and Daily Life at School.

Examined attitudes of 2,272 students in Great Britain and Northern Ireland regarding school councils and daily life. Found that about half the students reported that they had a school council. Concluded that those who thought councils were effective had positive views about their school's social and academic activities, whereas those who thought councils were ineffective had more negative attitudes.
