Strategy for the Modernization of the Rural Educational Socium

The rural educational socium represents the foundation of individual and social educational resources. Among the key provisions of the strategy for modernizing the rural educational socium, the authors list the following: the creation of an integral system of continuous education in the immediate vicinity of the place where youngsters and adults live, the essential characteristics of which are accessibility, flexibility, dynamicity, variability, adaptability, stability, prognosticability, continuity, integrality, and openness. The purpose of the development of the rural educational socium is to make a transition away from the administrative functional paradigm to the humanistic value paradigm of education, according to which the basic values of education consist of shaping an individual and specialist of a qualitatively new type who strives for constant personal development and for transformations in his community, the kind of person who is ready to choose an individual educational trajectory that is in keeping with his own interests and abilities.
