Word, Sheela
Death Studies, v20 n2 p133-48 Mar-Apr 1996
Two studies measured the relationship of mortality awareness to sexual, drug, and athletic risk taking by male (n=108) and female (n=119) college students. One study indicated significantly greater sexual risk taking among males than females, a significant negative relationship of mortality awareness to sexual risk taking in males, and no relationship of mortality awareness to reported drug use or athletic risk taking. Discusses findings. (KW)
