Do Contemporary Incentives and Rewards Perpetuate Outdated Forms of Professional Development?
Monahan, Thomas C.
Journal of Staff Development, v17 n1 p44-47 Win 1996

Results suggest that, despite evidence that they recognize practice in teacher development, teachers continue to be attracted by incentives and rewards for more traditional and outdated forms of professional growth and development.
