Collective bargaining agreements of 15 selected New Jersey two-year colleges are presented, representing contracts in effect in 1987. Contracts for the following colleges are included: Atlantic Community College, Bergen Community College, Brookdale Community College, Burlington County College, Camden County College, County College of Morris, Cumberland County College, Essex County College, Gloucester County College, Mercer County Community College, Middlesex County College, Ocean County College, Passaic County Community College, Salem Community College, and Somerset County College. With some variation in terms of coverage and detail, the agreements deal with unit recognition and rights, employer rights and responsibilities, faculty rights, hours and working conditions, salary and fringe benefits, paid and unpaid leaves of absence, grievance procedures, faculty evaluation, and the scope, effect and term of the agreement.
