Silverman, Stephen; And Others
Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport, v66 n1 p32-40 Mar 1995
This study examined relationships of task structures, explicitness, and accountability with student achievement in physical education. Students completed volleyball skills instruction, plus pretests and posttests. Videotaped instruction for skill-related tasks was examined. Results indicated clear patterns of organization, explicitness, and accountability, showing that tasks and accountability can be categorized. (SM)
