The development of evaluation and development programs for clinical faculty was based on information and criteria gathered from 22 other doctoral pharmacy programs. Specific guidelines for promotion and/or continuing appointment and an outline of the faculty training program in clinical research, evaluative research, and improved teaching are provided. (MSE)
