Effects of Teacher Experience and Selected Temperament Variables on Coping Strategies Used with Distractible Children.
Obsborne, Susan
American Educational Research Journal, v22 n1 p79-86 Spr 1985
University students representing two levels of teaching experience were compared while interacting with one of two child conferates displaying distractible behavior. Each adult completed the Guilford-Zimmerman Temperament Survey. Results suggested that experienced teachers took a more "task oriented" approach providing more instruction and structure than did inexperienced teachers. (Author/DWH)
