The Maternal and Child Health Service gives support to 13 graduate programs in maternal and child nursing with the objective of increasing the pool of nurse specialists in this field. Each program is briefly described in this pamphlet. Students accepted into a graduate program are eligible for stipends that cover living expenses, tuition, and a certain amount of travel. Eligibility for stipends is determined by the school. Following the descriptions of graduate programs is a listing of other programs for nurses that are supported by the Maternal and Child Health Service. (Author/HS)
