Imparting Information on Breastfeeding to Medical Students

A monograph and videotape on breastfeeding designed for inclusion in educational programs for medical practitioners, and designed to be motivational, were tested in a group of 56 medical students in six obstetric or pediatric rotations in three upstate New York Medical schools. Evaluations show significant improvement in student knowledge and significant but less impact on attitudes. (LBH)
