Mucedola, Michael S.
Clearing House: A Journal of Educational Strategies, Issues and Ideas, v91 n6 p229-235 2018
Educators face numerous challenges when attempting to facilitate student learning. Students differ in how they obtain, retain, and apply newly acquired knowledge and skills, while teachers grapple with established best practices to enhance the process. Vital to the education process is motivating students and setting up an environment for learning to continue outside the traditional classroom. This article spotlights the benefits of an intrinsic approach while advocating for community outreach strategies to improve learning and academic success.
