These books are designed to help English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) students learn the skills they need to communicate the step-by-step aspects of daily activities. Unlike most picture dictionaries, this is a verb-based multi-skills program that uses a student text with a clear and colorful pictorial detail as a starting point and focuses on the specific processes involved in activities such as waking up, riding a bus, playing CDs, and using an ATM. There is also a Spanish/English edition included to maximize effectiveness. In addition to the English and English/Spanish editions, three guide books are also included--a teacher's guide, a student workbook, and a listening activity book. An audiotape and an audio CD for both the student workbook and the listening activity book are included. A transcript of the audiotape and CD for the listening activity book is also provided. A total of 10 items comprise this document--2 books, 3 workbooks, and a transcript of the audiotapes/CDs, and 2 each of audiotapes and audio CDs.
