The consortium Mini-In-Service Mathematics Project consisted of teachers attending two three-hour graduate classes at each of seven sites in West Virginia. This document reports on the activities of the project and the results of a variety of evaluations done on and about the project. All participants completed a mathematics and a mathematics education class. Since the classes met concurrently, efforts were made to include similar topics and integrate the mathematics content and teaching methods in both classes. The report contains: (1) discussion of the organization of the project and the methods used to recruit participants; (2) description of the project program; (3) information about the participants; (4) descriptions of the activities designed to achieve quality control in the various training sites; (5) explanations and outcomes of various evaluation activities; (6) letters of support; and (7) a summary and comments made by the project coordinator.
